🐾 Community & Marketing Coordinator (3-Month Role with Potential to Extend)

All Pets Wellness Center + All Pets Barkery (Aurora, IL)

We’re looking for an outgoing, creative, and proactive marketing-minded team member to help grow our presence in the Aurora community and bring more local pet parents through our doors.

This is a 3-month role with potential to extend, perfect for someone who loves dogs, enjoys connecting with people, and isn’t afraid to think outside the box.

🧠 About the Role

This is not just a “sit behind a desk and post on social media” position.

We’re looking for someone who will:
👉 Get out into the community
👉 Build relationships
👉 Actively drive new business to our daycare, boarding, training, and barkery

📍 What You’ll Be Doing

Community Outreach & Local Marketing

• Build relationships with apartment complexes, local businesses, hotels, and pet-friendly workplaces

• Develop partnerships to attract dog daycare, boarding, and training clients

• Identify and connect with local groups for meetings, events, and rentals at our facility

• Represent All Pets at local events and networking opportunities

Marketing & Promotion

• Assist with social media, email campaigns, and local promotions

• Help create and execute ideas to increase visibility in the Aurora/Naperville area

• Brainstorm and implement creative ways to bring in new customers

Tours & Events

• Lead facility tours for prospective clients

• Coordinate and attend meetups, classes, and events

• Help grow and manage community events and partnerships

In-Store Support (Barkery)

• Assist customers in the barkery

• Help create a welcoming, positive in-store experience

🐶 We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is outgoing, friendly, and confident talking to people

• Is a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do

• Has a passion for dogs and pet care

• Enjoys both marketing AND in-person interaction

• Thinks creatively and brings new ideas to the table

• Is organized and able to manage multiple projects

💡 Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Experience in local marketing or community outreach

• Social media or email marketing experience

• Event planning or coordination
